Those projects challenge WHO WE ARE AND REMIND US OF WHO WE WANT TO BE.
RAXSA CAME ABOUT FROM a design for the bottom of the pyramid, NOKERO SPONSORED STUDIO TAUGHT BY PROFESSOR AKSHAY SHARMA.

Raxsa: (Rak·shah) A portable outdoor vending station for empowering and protecting female street vendors in rural India.

In India, 68% make less than $2 a day, 73% live in rural areas, 40% live off-the-grid, and yet 64% rely on phones for business.

To ensure the product would fit seamlessly into the life of our user, our team traveled to India to immerse ourselves and RAXSA into the societal and cultural contexts.
The product was designed, built, and tested with real end users to gain important insights.

Not only was our initial end user excited to use our solution, but we discovered that a wide range of professions across varied castes had similar needs and found our product desirable.
